From the Principal
Welcome back to Term 4 at OLMC! I hope that you all had the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing break over the school holidays. Before we get into Term 4 updates, I wanted to take a moment and wish the Class of 2026 congratulations on their Graduation. The final day of Term 3 was truly beautiful, filled with celebration and joyful moments.
I'm pleased to share the full list of Award Winners from the Graduation Assembly here. Thank you to all our students and their families for joining us on this special day.
The girls are now in Week 2 of their HSC Exams. Our prayers are with them as they approach each exam with collected confidence. Girls, I want to remind you to find moments of quiet reflection and mindfulness wherever you can during this busy season. We wish you all the best during this exam period.
There’s a lot to look forward to this term. As you read this letter, our Year 9 students have just returned from camp while the Class of 2027 have begun their Senior Retreat. Our camps and retreats are always a fantastic opportunity for learning and connection, providing a meaningful opportunity for all students.
This term we also look forward to our annual Dance Extravaganza which will be held on Friday, 6 November. This year’s event is set to be an evening of vibrant performances. Spaces are limited, so don’t forget to register your attendance by clicking here.
As Term 4 comes to an end, we’ll also enjoy our Celebration of Achievement on Thursday, 3 December. More information will be sent out to families on this day shortly.
At the close of 2026, we will farewell Mr Blomfield, Deputy Principal. Anthony has been at OLMC for three and one half years and has made a wonderful contribution to life at the College. He will be missed by all of us. Anthony is moving to a Deputy role at St Lucy’s School, Wahroongah and will be a fabulous addition to the staff of this Catholic School for children with additional needs.
We will find ways of farewelling Anthony appropriately as the year closes and we wish him all the best in his transition from OLMC.
