Discover the OLMC Difference Today
Tailored tours are held throughout the year, with our annual Open Day held in March. Attending a tour at OLMC provides you with insights into what makes the College so special.
By joining a tour you will experience a school-in-action, meet staff and students, and see the College grounds. Tours also give you the opportunity to speak with members of the College Leadership Team, along with a personalised Q&A session with the College Registrar. Our annual Open Day is a fantastic opportunity to meet more members of the College community and hear insights from our students.
For more information please contact Mrs Julie McIntyre, Registrar & Community Engagement Manger.

What does life look like at OLMC?
OLMC has long held a strong reputation within the Catholic education landscape as a place of academic excellence. Beyond that, OLMC is a place with heart. A place where tradition and innovation walk hand in hand. Within our buildings you will find a forward-thinking, dynamic community, preparing young women for an unknown future.
Throughout the year the College hosts events for students and the wider community. Some College favourites are Mercy Day, our Celebration of Achievement Assembly, and the Women in Leadership Forum. Our events allow us to strengthen our bond as a community.
What opportunities are available to students?
Mercy Girls have a wide variety of opportunities available to them - inside and outside of the classroom. From excursions and immersions, to our much-loved wellbeing and reflection days, there really is something for everyone.
At OLMC, compassion drives us to advocate for those in need. Students and staff at the College have the opportunity to be change makers through initiatives like the Winter Sleepout, Vinnie's Food Drive, and our eco programs. We are a passionate community, working together to create a more just world.
What is the Vertical House System?
Our Vertical House System is at the heart of our pastoral care, providing your daughter with a strong support network and fostering a true sense of belonging within our Mercy community.
Your daughter will become part of a House which contains students from Year 7 to Year 12. Each of these is led by a dedicated Head of House. As each girl enters Year 7, she is partnered with a Big Sister who provides mentorship and support as she navigates the transition into high school.
Does the College offer scholarships?
Yes, Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta has a range of scholarships available. OLMC Scholarships are a means of making a Mercy education available to more young women. You can learn more about OLMC Scholarships by clicking here.
We acknowledge the Burramattagal People of the Darug Nation, the traditional custodians of the land in Parramatta. We acknowledge the Elders, past and present and their ancestors who have had a deep relationship with country.
