From the Principal
As I write this, we have just wrapped up the 2026 HSC Showcase. This annual event showcases the HSC Major Works from our Year 12 students in Drama, Design & Technology, English Extension, History Extension, Music, Society & Culture and Visual Arts. Each year I am impressed by our students’ work and the stories they tell. Seeing each student’s dedication and talent come to life is an awe-inspiring experience. As I took in the works and chatted with attendees, I felt such pride for both the talent and intellect of these students and the humility and grace they show at our praise of them. I congratulate all the teaching and support staff who made this event such a success. Without our dedicated staff, events like this would not be possible.
I am looking forward to our Father-Daughter Mass on Friday, 4 September. RSVPs close on Friday, 28 August, so fathers and grandfathers still have time to register their attendance by clicking here. We look forward to welcoming you to this special event.
As we near the end of Term 3, we will enjoy Mercy Day on Friday, 18 September. The following week is the final week of Term 3. Year 12 Graduation will be held on Friday, 25 September. A reminder that, on this day, all students in Years 7-11 will have an At Home Learning Day.
Lastly, our Parents & Friends Association is seeking expressions of interest from parents for the OLMC Parent Social Event. More information can be found in the P&F section below and in the College Notices section of the Parent Portal. I encourage all parents to complete the short form and share their preferences to help shape the event.
