2026 OLMC Athletics Carnival
This year’s Athletics Carnival was one to remember! After a day of laughter, joy and competition, Clare House took out the overall carnival, while Kavanagh House claimed the Spirit Cup; a well-deserved award for both houses for their energy, enthusiasm and effort throughout the day.
Students threw themselves into a multitude of events, from the explosive energy of the sprints to the power and intricate technique required in shot put and discus, and the grave and precision of both high and long jump. What stood out was not just the competitive performances at the top of the leaderboard, but the determination shown by every girl who stepped up, showed up, and gave their all. Whether chasing a personal best or cheering a teammate across the finish line, the spirit of the day was one of genuine grit and heart.
Callan House brought their own magic to the occasion, arriving in full fairy costume for our "Callan Fairies" theme. Whether or not the wings helped us run faster remains debatable, but there was no question we brought some serious sparkle to the track.
Congratulations to all houses on a fantastic day of sport, spirit, and school pride.
