2026 Women in Leadership Forum

The OLMC Community is warmly invited to the ninth annual Women in Leadership Forum.

This event is always a highlight of the College calendar. Join us on Wednesday, 20 May 2026 for an inspirational evening. 

We are delighted to announce our guest speakers for 2026: Catherine Devine, Dr Vanessa Pirotta, Angela Joseph, and Maddison Brown. You can view more event information and bios on our guest speakers below.

Catherine has built a four-decade career in technology, working at the Reserve Bank of Australia and the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. 

Catherine led global strategy at Microsoft in Seattle for the museums and libraries industry for. She also served on the Board of the American Friends of the National Gallery of Australia. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Masters in Science from Syracuse University.

Vanessa is one of Australia’s most renowned wildlife scientists. She is driven by a passion for making science accessible, influential, and inclusive. 

Recognised for her influential work, Vanessa was named as one of the Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 Women of Influence in Science and Technology. She is the Chief Data Scientist at Rapiscan Systems, Chief Scientist at Wild Sydney Harbour and a Lecturer at Macquarie University. 

Angela is a multi-disciplinary creative. After completing her studies at KVB Design Institute, she built a career in London where she worked in publishing and creative media. 

Moving back to Australia in 2017, she transitioned into digital design. After six years at fashion powerhouse The Iconic where she led and mentored a team of designers, Angela moved across to large-scale branding projects at Australian Ethical Investment as their in-house Visual Design Lead. 

Maddison is an accomplished actress, brand ambassador, and entrepreneur. She has modelled for brands like Miu Miu, Longines, Pantene, and Pandora.

She made her feature film debut alongside Nicole Kidman in the film Strangerland and had a recurring role in the Dynasty reboot. Following a decade working internationally, Maddison returned to Australia joining Home and Away. In 2023, she co-founded Outside Beauty & Skincare.
