Congratulations to all those involved in Symphony under the Stars in Parramatta on Saturday January 28. We had a large number of current students and Alumnae involved in playing as part of The Emerging Artists Ensemble. The Ensemble played wonderfully and should be very proud of how they represented the College.

Mercy Girls performed as part of the 18-piece western Sydney string ensemble which supported the main orchestra, The ensemble consisted of young musicians from Sydney Conservatorium of Music and The Mercy Music and Performance Academy, OLMC, Parramatta Marist High School, Elite Violin Academy and Parramatta Cello School.

“We’ve planned a high-energy, uplifting repertoire that includes a variety of popular contemporary hits such as Sia’s Chandelier as well as traditional Latin American and Irish scores,” said OLMC Director of Music Performance who was conductor on the evening.
