Welcome to the Our Lady of Mercy College Parramatta website.
OLMC is an independent Catholic girls’ school based on the Gospel values of mercy and justice. In 2009, the College celebrates 120 years of Mercy education in the west of Sydney.
The 120 year celebration takes place at an exciting time in the history of the College as the Master Plan adopted by the College Board in 2008 is brought to life in the refurbishment of the Administration area and in the design and construction in 2009 -2010 of a new building which will provide contemporary Science facilities, Library, Hospitality and domestic kitchens, Canteen and Senior Study.
In 2009, we will acknowledge particularly the contribution made by students, staff, the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy, the OLMC Board of Directors, exstudents and other groups in establishing the College as a centre of educational excellence in the Mercy tradition.
At the same time our focus is also future oriented as the College moves into a notebook environment for students enhanced by the improved physical resources.
