OLMC has a group of dedicated parents who support the College through the Parents & Friends Association. The Association meets monthly at the College.

Its aims and objectives are as follows:-

  • to support the College’s goals to provide an environment of total care for all students;
  • to provide a forum for Parents and Friends of OLMC in which to discuss issues relating to the education and welfare of the student body;
  • to provide support to the Principal in her capacity as Executive Officer of the College on issues which affect the education and welfare of the student body;
  • to complement the activities and policy implementation of the College’s Board and Directors;
  • to promote the College in all its endeavours;
  • to support the College financially by means of the P & F Levy, and in consultation with the Principal, make decisions regarding its allocation within the school.

Generally, Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the College Library, with the exception of school holidays. Dates are outlined in the school calendar and also in the weekly newsletter, The Parragraph.

P & F activities provide parents/caregivers with a forum to voice their opinions and exercise their rights and responsibilities in supporting staff, students and other parents as we work together to create a centre for educational excellence amidst a secure and welcoming environment.

Each year the P & F holds the Year 7 Welcome Evening in Term 1, the Trivia Night in Term 2, the Principal’s Dinner in Term 3, and we are actively involved in Mercy Day, Yr 8 – 9 Information Evening and in the Year 7 Orientation Day.
