Sport
OLMC has traditionally had a very high number of students involved in the wide variety of sports offered at the College. All students are encouraged to become part of the sporting community in the sport of their choice. The College promotes the belief that it is good to try new sports as well as continuing to develop skills in the more familiar sports. OLMC believes that there is a team for every student within the College.
OLMC strives to achieve the following for all students involved in sport:
- To encourage students to feel part of the OLMC community
- To develop the potential of each student through training, skill development and encouragement
- To promote a wide variety of sports to suit the needs of the students
- To encourage positive “sportswomanship” and the importance of team cohesion
- To grade individuals into team standards appropriate to their skill level, where possible.

Sports offered at OLMC
Representative Teams
Students can try out for a representative team in any number of the above-mentioned sports. An interested student needs to be able to trial for the selected team and needs to be available for training sessions as a team before an event.
